There is an extensive prescription that comes with the test. It explains step-by-step how, and in which order, you should do the calprotectin test. Please read the prescription carefully before starting the test. We also explain the steps in this video. Hopefully the video will clear up any uncertainties. Good luck running the test!

Contact lenses are not affected by Hylan. If you use contact lenses, ask your doctor for advice on using contact lenses with Hylan. It's possible that your doctor may recommend removing the contact lenses before using Hylan eye drops.

It does not hurt if Hylan is temporarily exposed to a higher temperature than in the Netherlands. You can safely take Hylan with you on holiday to a warm country. You don't need to keep Hylan in the fridge, but make sure it doesn’t get exposed to the full sun. Hylan should not be stored in the freezer under any circumstances. Happy Holidays!
