Dry eye (or keratoconjunctivitis sicca) refers to the symptoms that occur due to localized drying of the surface of the cornea or conjunctiva. It is a common condition that usually begins in middle age, more often in women than in men. Long-term use of preservatives in eye drops can have an adverse effect on the ocular surface. They can have a damaging effect, provoke inflammation or cause an allergic reaction. We focus on unpreserved eye medications.
The symptoms of dry eyes occur due to local dehydration of the surface of the cornea or the conjunctival tissue. This causes a dry and burning sensation. This condition is often underestimated, which makes the patient feel misunderstood. The pain and discomfort can limit the patient in their work and social life. It has a negative impact on the quality of life and is therefore very important to treat.

AYZ Eyelid cream
AYZ Eyelid cream is intended for preventive care and the care of dry and irritated skin on the upper and lower eyelids.
The AYZ Eyelid cream contains 5% concentrated panthenol, vitamin E, bisabolol and hyaluronic acid. AYZ Eyelid Cream is free from preservatives and therefore also suitable while wearing contact lenses.
The cream is packed in a tube and can be used for up to 6 months after opening.

AYZ Protect eye drops
If your eyes need extra care, AYZ Protect may be suitable. In addition to sodium hyaluronate, AYZ Protect also contains 2% dexpanthenol, which protects the surface of the eye, allowing it to heal. AYZ Protect also contains 0.15% sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, citric acid and sterile water.
AYZ Protect eye drops are preservative-free and therefore also suitable for long-term use and contact lens wearers.
The eye drops are packaged in a manageable bottle and can be used for up to 12 months after opening.

AYZ Gel eye drops
Do you find yourself using your eye drops multiple times, every day? AYZ Gel can be the solution. This eye drop has a slightly thicker substance, because it contains sodium hyaluronate.
AYZ Gel contains 0.3% sodium hyaluronate as well as sodium chloride, sodium citrate, citric acid and sterile water. AYZ Gel eye drops are preservative-free and therefore also suitable for long-term use and while wearing contact lenses.
The eye drops are packaged in a manageable bottle and can be used for up to 12 months after opening.
