I.o.m. the organizing healthcare provider approaches Tramedico with a speaker (usually an ophthalmologist or optometrist with special knowledge in that field) to lead the 2-hour CME.
The participants and the speaker can provide prior case studies that will be discussed during the refresher course.
CME for dry eyes or glaucoma
Knowledge transfer mainly focused on the treatment plan if it is for pharmacists.
Or aimed at diagnosis for ophthalmologists in training, for example.
T-Pensant
About 25 years ago, Tramedico created the T-Pensants: a unique training concept and platform by doctors, for doctors. Since then, regular regional meetings have been organized, providing a space for doctors to share knowledge and experiences. These gatherings serve as a valuable source of inspiration and professional development within the medical community. The program can consist entirely of case discussions or be combined with a state-of-the-art lecture by a guest speaker. The doctors shape these evenings themselves, determining the content and discussions. Tramedico plays a supportive role by facilitating the meeting in terms of location, accreditation, and other logistical aspects.
While the T-Pensants are very well known and appreciated by doctors in the field of MDL, we have been implementing this concept with ophthalmic specialists since 2022.
As part of the T-Pensant, Tramedico has launched the Specialist Portal. Here, doctors can register and receive active notifications whenever a new meeting is organized in their region of interest. This makes it quick and easy for them to sign up for a meeting.
