New to the AYZ range: AYZ Matrix3® eye drops
Tramedico is proud to introduce AYZ Matrix3® — a new, advanced eye drop as an addition to the AYZ range.
It is developed for people with dry eye symptoms who do not experience sufficient comfort with standard solutions.
Why AYZ Matrix3®
AYZ Matrix3® stands out through a combination of three key components and a muco-adhesive effect (targeting the mucin layer of the tear film). This formulation is designed to support longer-lasting contact with the ocular surface.
1) Hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) 0.15%
Provides high viscoelasticity and supports effective hydration of the ocular surface.¹
2) Trehalose 3%
Trehalose has strong moisturising properties and has shown beneficial effects in the context of hyperosmolarity.²
3) Arabinogalactan 0.4%
A natural polysaccharide with lubricating properties, effective in supporting corneal protection. Thanks to its muco-adhesive effect, it adheres better to the ocular surface and remains in place for longer.³
When do we recommend AYZ Matrix3®?
- The client needs to apply drops too often during the day because symptoms return quickly
- Insufficient comfort with standard hyaluronic acid (HA) drops
- Dry eyes under high daily strain (screen use, air conditioning, contact lenses)
- The client asks for “something that stays in longer” (practical need)
AYZ Matrix3® is preservative-free and suitable for use by contact lens wearers.
