Macrogol and electrolytes Natural InterGal Junior is a laxative for children.

The active ingredients of this medicine are macrogol 3350 and some electrolytes (salts), such as sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium chloride and potassium chloride.
Macrogol 3350 softens your stool, making it easier to pass, thereby relieving your constipation. The electrolytes help maintain normal levels of sodium, potassium and water in the body while treating your constipation.

If there is inflammation in the gut, calprotectin is excreted with the stool. The presence of calprotectin in the stool can help the doctor to distinguish chronic intestinal inflammation (IBD, eg Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis) from functional intestinal complaints, such as irritable bowel syndrome.
