This preservative-free medicine is used to lower the eye pressure. It can be used in the treatment of open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Both conditions involve increased pressure in your eye.
It can be used as a single medicine only when eye drops containing beta-blockers (certain group of medicines for high blood pressure, certain heart conditions and increased eye pressure) cannot be used by you. It can also be used with another eye drop when one medicine isn’t enough to lower the raised pressure in the eye.
