The history
Tramedico was founded in 1973 as a family business. We still are and we are proud of that. We are a link in the bigger picture of the pharmaceutical industry; from our offices in Weesp, we ensure that medicines and medical devices are introduced and distributed in the Netherlands. We have many collaborations with international pharmaceutical companies and have built up an established reputation both at home and abroad.
Based on our long history in Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases and Ophthalmology, we are a well-known and reliable partner for healthcare professionals. Innovation, trust and quality are central within Tramedico. We strive for long-term partnerships, both with our national and international partners.

Our mission is to introduce medicines and medical devices that meet a need in healthcare in the Netherlands. We now have more than 50 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and we have focused on the specializations of Ophthalmology, Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases and Orthopedics.

Pharma Stulln
Tramedico has been working for years with PharmaStulln, a company located in the German village of Stulln. Many products from our range of unpreserved eye medication come from here and Tramedico successfully brings this to the Dutch market.

Corporate Social Responsibility
At Tramedico we are there for the people. We strive to contribute to society and the environment. We do this, among other things, by financially supporting charities suggested by employees. Example of this is our support to the Eye Care Foundation.
An increasingly important part of life on this earth is the ecological footprint that we as humans leave behind. At Tramedico we are aware of this and we try to reduce this ecological footprint.
In consultation with our suppliers, we work to reduce the waste flow by using less packaging material and the use of recycled and recyclable material.
