A Remarkable Journey to Zambia
Tramedico has been supporting the Nawa Vision Care Foundation for several years. This year, one of our colleagues travelled to Zambia to take part in an eye care mission, during which nearly 700 patients were screened.
The Nawa Vision Care Foundation is dedicated to making quality eye care accessible to people who might otherwise go without it. Through mobile eye care programmes, the foundation reaches children, women and families in remote areas where access to medical care is often limited. Good vision makes a significant difference in everyday life and creates more opportunities for education and employment.
Tramedico has supported the foundation for several years, including by donating our eye drops. This year, one of our colleagues had the special opportunity to travel to Zambia and experience firsthand the impact of the foundation’s work on local communities.
It was a truly memorable experience for our colleague Sharon. During the mission, nearly 700 patients received eye examinations. Thanks to the dedication of the team and the resources available, including eye drops from our AYZ product range, many people were able to receive immediate care.
For our colleague, witnessing firsthand how much of a difference quality eye care can make was a particularly meaningful experience. It highlights the importance of the foundation’s work and reinforces why we at Tramedico are committed to continuing our support.
