Ever wondered about the origins of the name "Tramedico"? Let us take you on a brief journey back to our beginnings.

The name Tramedico was chosen as a tribute to a company in Egypt with which the two founders of Tramedico did great business in a previous company. The Egyptian Tramedico, however, was expropriated and disappeared during the revolution.

Many years later, the founders of Tramedico crossed paths once again with the former owner of the Egyptian company. The latter was deeply moved to tears upon learning that the name of his former company was being continued.

An alternative, simplified version of the story is: Tramedico, something related to "trade" and "medical," as the name doesn't have a specific meaning
